This universal remote replaces your Apple TV. Just a few notes: you cannot use this remote if your old remote is still paired with your television. You need to unpair it first. See the instructions below.

Notes:

If the LED of your Apple TV blinks but there is no response, this means that your Apple TV is still paired with the original remote. Our remote cannot pair/unpair with an Apple TV. In this case, you will need to unpair the original remote. There are three ways to unpair the original remote:

1. Use your original Apple remote to unpair the Apple TV directly,
2. If you don't have access to the original remote, you can download the Apple TV IOS app to your iPhone which can connect to your Apple TV to initiate the unpairing process,
3. The third option is to unpair by restoring your Apple TV via iTunes.
